MCA Transportation FMCSA Report 4/28/2015

At Motorcoach Class A Transportation, Inc., we put safety before profit! Safety begins at home, right here at our own motor coach maintenance and service facility and state-of-the-art dispatch center. MCA employs only factory trained, ASE certified technicians who operate under MCA’s mandate that safety is not just “a” priority, it’s the ONLY priority. We regularly perform preventative maintenance that is unsurpassed in the industry. Not only are our operators required to complete the USDOT 71-point post-trip inspection after every trip, but MCA requires every operator to complete another 71-point, thorough pre-trip inspection again before putting that motor coach back on the road. In addition, any safety concerns that arise while out on the road are immediately addressed.

Our state-of-the-art, 24/7 operations center allows our trained dispatchers to see the location of every bus at all times and directly monitor the condition of our operators with our integrated GPS and Electronic Log Book system. The integrated GPS system allows our dispatchers to pin-point any motor coach at any time, day or night, in case of an emergency or in case road conditions or other hazards require on-the-go rerouting. The Electronic Log Book system ensures that all MCA of operators are always fresh and well-rested while operating our motor coaches by automatically recording and reporting their in-service driving hours directly to home base.

Not all motor coach companies are created the same. The U.S. Department Of Transportation (USDOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) have created a website so the public can review the safety and inspection records on all passenger carriers. Whether you ultimately choose to use MCA or another carrier, please take the time to “LOOK BEFORE YOU BOOK”. https://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/SMS
